Four prominent rabbis, Rabbis Sharon Kleinbaum, Jill Jacobs, David Rosenn and Shai Held joined thousands in protesting the killing of Eric Garner. They recited the Kadish, the Jewish mourning prayer, for more than twenty victims of police violence.
