More than 50 people, mostly Jews, gathered at Clinton Square, Syracuse against racism and Islamophobia. This vigil was organised by the organisation Jewish Voice for Peace. As they are celebrating Hanukkah- remembrance of religious freedom- they denounced anti-Muslim profiling. They also showed their support for Syracuse Mayor Stephanie A. Miner due to her will to welcome Syrian refugees.
